From 21 to 30 June 2026, Sibonile Myambo and community participants continued developing the tree nursery by sourcing, transporting and preparing the soil propagation materials needed to support future tree growth.

A total of 3m³ of propagation soil materials was sourced and transported to the nursery site on 26 June. From 29 June, students and women from the community began filling nursery pots with the prepared soil, gaining practical experience in the early stages of tree propagation.

By 30 June, potting activities were underway, with participants continuing the work towards a target of 5,000 nursery pots. The activity was supported through collaboration with local businesses, which helped facilitate affordable transportation of the materials to the nursery site.

Aligned with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), the activity reflects the growing collaboration between local businesses, schools, students and community members to establish a shared foundation for future tree planting and environmental action.
