On 24th June, as an implementation partner, the POP Movement participated in the Final Consolidation and Review Meeting of the UNESCO IESALC Blue Economy Pilot Project in Lisbon, Portugal. The meeting brought together international partners to review achievements, exchange lessons learned, and explore future collaboration for sustainable coastal development.

We extend our sincere appreciation to UNESCO IESALC, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC), Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I.P., and all our partners from Angola, Chile, Jamaica, and Portugal, including The University of the West Indies, University of Talca, Universidade Katyavala Bwila, Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, and our fellow implementation partners for their dedication, collaboration, and shared commitment to building more resilient and sustainable coastal communities.

Together, we continue advancing knowledge, strengthening partnerships, and empowering communities to create a more sustainable future for people and the planet.
