The POP Movement is pleased to share that Dr. Ash Pachauri, Director and Co-Founder of the POP Movement, has been invited to participate as a panelist at the Thessaloniki Sustainability Summit (TSS) 2026, to be held on 14–15 September 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Organized annually by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Black Sea, in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the World Academy of Art and Science (WAAS), the Summit serves as an international platform for dialogue on sustainable development, bringing together leaders from academia, policy, civil society, and international organizations.

The theme of this year’s Summit, “Universities for Sustainable Development: Innovation, Research, and Action,” will explore the critical role of higher education institutions in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals through research, innovation, collaboration, and community engagement.

Dr. Pachauri has accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation as a panelist. Through his contribution, he will share perspectives on youth leadership, sustainability, education, and the importance of collaborative partnerships in driving meaningful climate action and sustainable development.
