Nitya Dhingra is a passionate learner with a keen interest in preserving and protecting the planet. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Art Degree in Communication Design from the Parsons School of Design in New York. She completed high school with strong academic credentials while heading the Visual Art department in her school. Nitya was also a member of the Environment Council in her high school where she focused on issues relating to sustainability, participated in several clean-up drives around the city, and helped organize panel discussions with influential environmentalists.
She has also worked with CanSupport, India’s largest palliative care platform, to help raise funds for advanced cancer patients through a benefit concert. She believes that music can uplift lives in the simplest of ways. She also shares great love and passion for all animals and wishes to be able to help them in any way she can.
Through the POP Movement, Nitya wants to learn from other people’s endeavors, gain a deeper knowledge about matters of the environment, and contribute towards protecting the planet. She believes that through a conscious effort from us all, together, we can impact lives.
