Currently pursuing M.A. in Sociology from University of Lucknow, Pawan’s journey started at the age of 17 when he moved to Lucknow for his higher studies and got engaged with the Be a Jagrik Program, where he got to learn about constitutional literacy. This helped him in developing his leadership skills and then he became a part of the Clean Air Fellowship. He was able to reach out to more than 2500 people through this fellowship and taught them about vermicompost preparation. Pawan believes that simple steps like using dry leaves or banana peels can be made into preparation of vermicompost which would later lead to avoiding environmental pollution. As Jagrik and Clean Air Fellow, he has demonstrated his abilities to act on climate action. He wants to incorporate his previous learnings into the Changelooms journey, where he wishes to work with the youth.
