Kailash Satyarthi
Mr. Satyarthi is renowned for his crusade against child labor and advocacy for universal education rights. Co-honored with the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, he founded impactful organizations like Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Global March Against Child Labour, Global Campaign for Education, Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, and Bal Ashram Trust, liberating over 86,000 children from labor, slavery, and trafficking in India. His leadership spearheaded the Global March Against Child Labour, a monumental 80,000 km journey across 103 countries, culminating in the adoption of the International Labour Organization Convention 182. His nationwide Bharat Yatra rallied for legislation against child rape and abuse in India, reflecting his tireless dedication to child welfare.
