Jean is a founding member of the environmental association, Friends of the Planet of Cameroon (APC). Serving as a POP Mentor in Cameroon, he also collaborates with the UNFCCC and the CCNUCC. In 2010, APC won the international “Prix École Paix et Coopération” for environmental associations combating climate change. Jean leads the sanitation and river protection project in the Mefou and Afamba Department in the Central Region of Cameroon since 2020. Additionally, he is a partner in the sanitation and decongestion project of Cameroon’s urban sewers. Actively participating in the first national waste management meetings in Cameroon in April 2016 at the Palais des Congrès, Jean collaborates with the school club “Ecole Verte d’el Jadida” in Morocco.
