On April 9, 2021, POP Youth Mentor and Ambassador for Africa, Samuel C. Okorie was invited to speak by the Student Christian Movement (SCM) of Nigeria during their Biannual Conference in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. The event saw the participation of over 1000 students from 7 different institutions and other stakeholders. Samuel shared the importance and need for climate education while promoting the POP Nigeria Initiative and encouraged their involvement as advocates and actors in facilitating the course of climate education in Nigeria.
