On the evening of March 5, 2020, following the conclusion of the day one of Second World Sustainable Development Forum, the young participants of the event congregated for the WAAS – WSDF – POP Movement Special Meeting on Youth Leadership. The meeting sought to examine dramatic instances of leadership by youth and civil society organizations in order to identify successful strategies that can be applied to promote breakthrough progress in addressing global challenges and opportunities. The discussion was chaired by Prof. Mila Popovich, Founder of EVOLVED Leadership and Dr. Ash Pachauri, POP Senior Mentor who drew in the active engagement of every youth on the table, giving rise to a fully thriving dialogue that not only explored, but also exemplified the irrefutable importance of youth leadership.
