The POP Movement (Dr. Ash Pachauri, Dra. Norma Patricia Muñoz Sevilla, and Ms. Liza Padi) conducted a 45-minute virtual conference with about 50 students and professors at the University of Guadalajara’s Center of Exact Sciences and Engineering (CUCEI). The interactive session marked “Environmental Week” at their institution. The students were eager to know more about The POP Movement and shared their ideas on how they can begin a youth led climate action in Guadalajara. The POP Movement has invited the students to share their project ideas with its Global Mentors and seek their guidance and support in the build up to the Mexico, Latin America, and Caribbean POP Festival being planned in August 2019.
