January 19, 2023

POP Malawi launched the 2023 tree planting season in their community in a bigger and certainly louder way. The 10,000 tree seedlings we have raised from October 2022, now have been planted. Team from Malawi did their best to take care of the principle of intersectionality in climate actions by engaging all necessary players in the society in their activities. This multi task event began with a two Kilometer climate parade followed by guest speeches, learner’s climate  performances, and concluded by planting of trees at the school. The event was attended by high profile personalities from the local government district council, representatives from the  forestry department, faith leaders, and traditional leaders just mentioning a few.
