Activity 3 of Tree Plantation Activity:

In the second week of the Community-led Afforestation and Reforestation Project in Mataka village, Machinga, Malawi, significant progress has been achieved in the establishment of tree nurseries. The dedicated community members of Mataka have successfully completed the construction of the nursery fence. A total of 80 motivated villagers have put in five days of tireless effort, mobilizing resources and erecting the fence. This nursery is set to raise 5,000 seedlings, which will be ready for planting in February 2024.
