On June 9, 2020, Summer Benjamin, a 16-year-old Ocean Advocate represented the POP Movement as a panelist in the session entitled: “The Future of Work Belongs to Youth Changemakers” at the Global MindED annual conference. The theme for the 2020 conference was “The Future of Work is Diverse, Inclusive, Just and Equitable”.

The session was opened by Stéphane Lessard, Consul General of Canada in Denver, who spoke about the importance of creating a more diverse leadership pipeline. Summer Benjamin, along with entrepreneur and innovator Shaan Baig was interviewed by teen entrepreneur, Riya Karumanchi on how young people can leverage their passions to solve meaningful global problems.
