The 24th Edition of the World Sustainable Development Summit 2025

The 24th edition of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2025 commenced today, featuring 28 expansive thematic tracks. This flagship program, organized annually by TERI – The Energy and Resources Institute, serves as a pivotal platform for global sustainability discourse.
As an outreach partner, the POP Movement is deeply engaged in this prestigious summit, recognized as one of the largest sustainability gatherings in India and globally. POP Mentors, Mr. Remigius Fernandes, Komal Mittal, and Manish Gupta, attended the event as representatives of a partner organization, while trainee mentors from POP actively volunteered at WSDS. We remain committed to amplifying critical conversations and fostering collaborative efforts, paving the way for impactful outcomes at WSDS 2025.
The inaugural session brought together distinguished leaders, including H.E. Mark Phillips, Prime Minister of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana; H.E. Marina Silva, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Brazil; H.E. Bhupender Yadav, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, India; alongside Mr. Nitin Desai, Chairman of TERI; Dr. Vibha Dhawan, Director General of TERI; and Dr. Shailly Kedia, the esteemed Curator of WSDS.
