The 1st AGPHI International Summit on “Public Health and Climate Change” to be organized by Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro and School of Global Public Health of New York University (UAQ-NYU)

Scheduled to be held on April 21 – 23, 2021, the purpose of this summit is to carry out a commemoration of the International Day of the Earth, where climate change issues and their relation with public health will be discussed. The congress will focus on many of the SDGs, including SDG 17 from the 2030 Agenda for partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development goals, especially the alliance between Mexico and the United States. The 3-day summit will focus on the environmental issues that affect these regions and attempt to identify effective and sustainable solutions and initiatives. POP Senior Mentor, Dr. Ash Pachauri, will be one of the keynote speakers at the event who will underscore the role of youth in addressing climate change.
