Dr. Ash Pachauri joined global youth leaders at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the World Academy of Art & Science (WAAS), emphasizing intergenerational collaboration for climate action.

On October 2, 2025, Dr. Pachauri joined an inspiring panel discussion on “The Role of the Youth Branch of the World Academy of Art & Science and SDSN Youth in the Implementation of the Paris Agreement.”

The session, moderated by Dr. Evangelia Savvidou (Global Networks Manager & Founding Regional Network Coordinator, SDSN Youth Black Sea; Junior Fellow, WAAS; Climate Reality Leader), brought together a distinguished group of young leaders and experts. This discussion underscored the power of intergenerational collaboration, youth-led innovation, and global partnerships in driving meaningful climate action.

Among the distinguished attendees were Garry Jacobs (President, WAAS) and Professor Nicolaos Theodossiou (Professor, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; Chair, SDSN Black Sea; Fellow, WAAS).

The two-day hybrid Summit highlighted the pivotal role of youth leadership and collaboration in achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and shaping a sustainable, inclusive future for all.
