On October 20, 2020, the POP Movement made a keynote address at a virtual event to celebrate the 34th anniversary of CECATI 133. Mexico’s Federal Government has created CECATI technical trade schools and training centers to provide an opportunity for those unable to attend universities. Accessible and short technical programs are delivered at CECATI to benefit many young and potential workers with practical training. Each Mexican state has 3-4 CECATIs. Dr. Ash Pachauri invited the 150 CECATI institutions in Mexico to join the POP Movement and participate in the POP Movement’s upcoming Festival scheduled in December 2020.
