Dr. Ash Pachauri, Senior Mentor, POP Movement and Dra. Norma Patricia Muñoz Sevilla, Honorary Distinguished Mentor of the POP Movement conducted a 2-day conference and workshop with over 600 Ambassadors and Activists of the Global Embassy of Activists for Peace (GEAP) who promote peace and love for mother earth in their communities around the world. The conference and workshop were held in Bogota, Colombia and engaged EMAP’s Ambassadors from 23 countries, including 120 from Colombia, Ecuador, and Brazil who were physically present and 500 from 20 other countries that were live-streamed. The event also brought together Dr. Manuel Diaz the leader of the Green Citizens Foundation in Venezuela that is doing extraordinary work to mobilize citizens to take action to go-green. The POP Movement and the Green Citizens Foundation will soon join hands to mobilize youth in Venezuela to Protect Our Planet.
