POP-USA partnered with the County of San Mateo in California to launch the Youth Climate Ambassadors program on 11 January, 2020. With the participation of around 60 students from 20 cities, this year-long youth leadership program will offer monthly workshops and other essential support to students who will develop and implement a community impact project that is designed around local climate change efforts. Through this process of becoming change makers, the students will also gain experience in a variety of skills including observation, interviews, survey design and implementation, data collection and so on.
