Scholars for Medicine (SFM) is an elite 8-year Bachelor’s/MD program between Stony Brook University and the Renaissance School of Medicine. Its students founded the Scholars for Medicine Society to foster connections and drive healthcare innovation.

This semester, the society will host the second annual Healthcare Innovation Challenge on April 13, 2025, at Stony Brook University. Open to high school (18+), undergraduate, master’s, and medical students, the event encourages interdisciplinary teams to solve pressing healthcare issues, pitch ideas to experts, and compete for $3,000+ in prizes.
