The POP Movement is partnering with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) as an Outreach Partner for their annual flagship event, the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS), scheduled to be held from February 22-24, 2023. The Summit deliberations will focus on the umbrella theme, ‘Mainstreaming Sustainable Development and Climate Change Resilience for Collective Action’.

Deliberations at the Summit will examine topics such as climate change, sustainable consumption and production, inclusive energy transitions, and will deliberate on various strategic priorities such as G20 Presidency of India and the Global Stocktake process to be held at COP28.

Over the years, the Summit series has brought together 54 Heads of State and Government, 13 Nobel Laureates, 103 Ministers, 1888 Business Leaders, 2745 Speakers, and 38280 Delegates from around the world. Special features at the Summit will include ministerial sessions, youth plenary, women leadership plenary, CEO Forum, thematic tracks, and the release of the Act4Earth Manifesto. By playing a constructivist role, the Summit will seek to reinforce commitment at all levels to enhance ambition and action to create a more sustainable and equitable world for present and future generations.
