POP Germany’s fully functional photovoltaic system in school

Conceived in 2019 as a green electricity project by POP Germany, the photovoltaic system has been installed on the rooftops of the school, Julius-Stursberg-Gymnasium and is successfully running since August 2020. The school roof has 952 solar modules with a peak output of 212 kilowatt-peak. The annual production is 230,000 kWh, which equates to the supply of approximately 66 homes.
