The POP Movement met with several officials, Dra. Ruth Reyana, Coordinator of Climate Change; Hector M. Lopez Romero, Director of Planning and Sustainable Energy; Martin Subscretaria; Jose Luis Ortiz Duran Salinas, Vice Minister of Urban Development; Alejandra López Puete, Cultural Coordinator; and Norma Angelica Rangel Sevilla, Director of Urban Enforcement. The Ministry has offered its complete support to the POP Movement and has extended its partnership to POP Movement in its upcoming festival in Nayarit in August, 2019 and the World Sustainable Development Forum (WSDF) scheduled in Mexico City in October 2019. Additionally, the Ministry has made a decision to implement a local POP Festival in the state of Nuevo Leon and has offered to partner to conduct a one-day WSDF event in Monterrey in 2019 for which it will mobilize both partnerships and resources. The Ministry has also developed a plan of implementation for the POP Movement in all universities throughout the state and has invited the POP Movement to return to roll out across its educational institutions in Nuevo Leon.
