Meeting with the Minister and Vice-Minister of Environment, Chiapas

The POP Movement met with the Minister of Environment for the state of Chiapas, Arq. Maria del Rosario Bonifaz Alfonso and Lic. Luis Armando Villanueva Rocha, Vice Minister of Environment and Climate Change on April 8, 2019. We discussed the key environmental challenges in the Chiapas and the need for urgent action. The Minister expressed an interest in collaborating with the POP Movement. She expressed her optimism and hope in making change. She also confirmed her participation in the POP youth festival, Chiapas scheduled on May 15-16, 2019.
