Commemorating International Women’s Day on March 8, 2021, Dra. Norma Patricia Muñoz Sevilla, Honorary Distinguished Mentor of the POP Movement, participated in an interview on Ciidir Sinaloa along with Dra. Dalila Aldana from Cinvestav. For their extraordinary work on marine science and the ocean, Dra. Norma and Dra Dalila, received the “Knight of the Order of Academic Palms”, decoration awarded by the French Republic.

On March 11, 2021, Dra. Norma Patricia Muñoz Sevilla, Honorary Distinguished Mentor and researcher at CIIEMAD-IPN was awarded as Outstanding Mexican Woman at the international virtual event “Time for Women, Woman is time” celebrating International Women’s Day organized by “Banco del Tiempo Kual Kan (CDMX)” and the Ibero-American Association of Time Banks (ASIdBT, Spain).
