Dr. Saroj Pachauri received the prestigious title of “Woman of the Year” at the International Recognition – New York 2024 event, held yesterday at La Nacional, Spanish Benevolent Society of New York.

This international recognition, bestowed by RAW (Rosalía Arteaga Glocal Women Foundation), celebrates Dr. Pachauri’s memorable contributions to public health alongside other remarkable women who have made a lasting impact on our society.

Today, on her birthday, we also honor Dr. Saroj Pachauri, MD, PhD, DPH, who currently serves as the Climate-Health Mentor of The POP (Protect Our Planet) Movement. Her extensive career as a public health physician has brought transformative changes spanning family planning, maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV and AIDS, poverty, gender, and youth, both in India and globally.
