On September 22, 2021, POP Venezuela launched a new contest on food, as part of the “Education for Sustainable Development” program, to promote the importance of good child nutrition in 7 schools, with the participation of 4200 students in Venezuela and other countries.

One of the main objectives of the “1st Contest: Feed your Conscience” is to raise awareness among citizens and strengthen solidarity in the fight against hunger and its eradication in 2030. This contest consists of creating a written piece about one of the five main subjects: the importance of good child nutrition, food security, food waste, eating disorders and relationship between poverty and hunger.

The awards will be given on November 3, 2021, via Zoom to recognize best articles. The award will consist of a diploma, showcasing the work on the Movimiento POP Venezuela Instagram page and the winners will have the opportunity to share their experience in an interview.
