Dr. Ash Pachauri participated as an expert for the Our Future India report as a part of the UN Foundation Next Generation India Fellowship, implemented in partnership with Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW). Launched during India’s G20 Presidency in September 2023, the Fellowship places young people at the forefront of shaping India’s future and solving the world’s most pressing challenges, as they work closely with intergenerational changemakers globally to build consensus around a ‘future agenda’ for India. Our Future India captures youth perspectives on Artificial Intelligence, climate change, rapid urbanization, demographic trends, and geopolitical shifts through youth consultations in seven Indian states and global diaspora dialogues.

Our Future India interviewed 50 experts with leading voices across these disruptors. The insights will directly shape the Our Future India report, launching on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York this September.
