The POP Movement has officially launched the POP Australia Initiative, beginning with a community beach clean-up at the scenic Mordialloc Beach, Victoria. Under a warm, sunny sky, volunteers spanning ages 19 to 53 came together for an hour-long walk to make a meaningful impact by cleaning up our cherished coastline.

During our clean-up, we discovered that the most common litter included tissue paper fragments, plastic bottles, and food waste. Although the beach initially looked clean, it quickly became evident just how much trash can be concealed in plain sight!
