Activity No. 16:On January 20, 2023, a team consisting of Levy Nyirenda, Gift Mwanza, Bornwell Lungu, and Grace Mkandawire organized a Tree Planting session at Munali Boys Secondary School in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Zambia, and NGOs: Needs for Orphans Foundation, United People Global, and UN MGCY. The session aimed to instill leadership qualities in the participants and emphasize the importance of taking action for the well-being of the environment. With the theme “Leadership Starts Now,” the event aimed to inspire male learners to make informed decisions that contribute to the preservation of Mother Earth. Approximately 60 boys, including students and teachers, actively participated in the session. The learners actively engaged in the planting process, which formed the practical aspect of the project. Group leaders were also selected to oversee the ongoing work at the school as a result of the session.
