Zainab has a degree in Radio & TV journalism and started her career as a News Reporter in India’s national news channel, Doordarshan. In a short span, she moved to documentary film making and television production. Zainab became a filmmaker with The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and produced films for varied clients like United Nations, Air India, Govt. of India, (SDC), WHO, NACO, etc. A documentary film-maker who has tackled a range of social issues such as climate change, women’s empowerment, and AIDS awareness, Zainab’s films reflect the vision to inspire and educate masses to take action and be the change they want to see in the world. Her endeavors have been acknowledged and were awarded the Roll of Honor (2009) by TERI.

Since 2009, Zainab resides in Canada, and over the years, she has been engaged with various brands, organizations, events and community engagement initiatives both for the private and public sectors. As a marketing specialist, she wears many hats to create digital marketing strategies for helping the brand build a lucrative presence online and on multimedia. She is involved with B2B and B2C marketing, digital campaigning, media placement, social media activity & tracking, and establishing creative ways to increase online traffic.

She was honored by the Award of Excellence in Marketing Real Estate (2019). One of her television commercial work won the Namic Emma Awards in New York. When not busy planning campaigns, Zainab can be found with her canvas and paintbrushes.
