The POP Movement is pleased to be a collaborating partner for Energy Summit 2026 – Solar for Peace and Sustainability: Powering the Future, being organized by the Manav Rachna Centre for Peace and Sustainability, Manav Rachna University on 24–25 September 2026.

The Summit will bring together policy-makers, industry leaders, researchers, academicians, startups, investors, and students to explore India’s clean energy transition, sustainable development, innovation, and emerging renewable energy solutions. The program will feature keynote sessions, policy dialogues, industry panels, startup and innovation showcases, and research presentations and networking opportunities.

POP Movement at Energy Summit 2026

Throughout both days, the POP Movement will host a dedicated exhibition stall showcasing its work in youth leadership, climate action, sustainability and capacity building.

A key feature of the stall will be the POP Regional Festival 2026, highlighting the work of eight student teams from Manav Rachna institutions. These teams have designed and implemented practical activities related to climate change, sustainability, health, biodiversity, gender equity, WASH, food systems, climate justice and other Sustainable Development Goals.

The exhibition will offer participants, educators, researchers and young people an opportunity to learn how youth-led initiatives can translate sustainability knowledge into practical, community-oriented action. The POP Movement will also felicitate all eight participating teams in recognition of their creativity, leadership, commitment and contributions.

Youth for Sustainable Energy Transition

On 25 September, the POP Movement will host a special session titled “Youth for Sustainable Energy Transition”, bringing together voices from the POP Movement and its partner network to explore the role of young people in shaping a cleaner, more inclusive, and sustainable energy future.

The session will feature Dr. Sanyogita Sharma, Manav Rachana University, Dr. Ash Pachauri, POP Movement, Dr. Saroj Pachauri, POP Movement, Dr. Gurjeet, Manav Rachana University, Dr. Norma Patricia Muñoz Sevilla, IPN, Karishma Singhania, CII Young Indians, and Pranav K. Gahadwal, POP Movement along with youth voices.

The session will focus on youth leadership, education, innovation, collaboration and meaningful participation in accelerating sustainable energy transitions and linking energy action with peace, sustainability and climate resilience.

Through its participation in Energy Summit 2026, the POP Movement aims to connect youth-led climate action with the wider energy transition dialogue, creating opportunities for young people to learn, collaborate, share their work, and contribute to solutions for a sustainable future.
