Dr. Ash Pachauri received the “Most Inspiring Global Leader in Climate Action and Youth Leadership – 2026” award from the ZEDx Awards, recognizing his outstanding contributions to climate action, youth empowerment, and global sustainability.

This recognition celebrates Dr. Pachauri’s longstanding commitment to advancing climate action, empowering young people, and building partnerships that translate awareness into meaningful action. Over the past decade, the POP Movement has grown into a global network that supports youth leadership, environmental education, community engagement, and innovative initiatives that inspire positive change.

Reflecting on the recognition, Dr. Pachauri emphasized that the award belongs to the entire POP community—its mentors, volunteers, researchers, partners, and young leaders—whose dedication and collaboration have helped transform a shared vision into a global movement. Since its founding, the POP Movement has been guided by the belief that young people are not simply the leaders of tomorrow but the leaders of today, when provided with the mentorship, opportunities, and trust to make a difference.
