During December 10, 2023, in a touching celebration of the International Volunteer Day, the Meraki Foundation recognized the impactful contributions of the POP Movement to their efforts and mission in fostering positive change within communities in Valencia, Venezuela. Youth Mentor Ricardo Delgado accepted the certificate of recognition during the event on behalf of the POP team, with the presence of committed POP volunteer Andrea Garcia.

During the event, Delgado addressed the audience, expressing gratitude and reflecting on the essence of volunteerism:

“Volunteering is about being catalysts of hope, being lighthouses in the midst of darkness, offering opportunities where disadvantage seems overwhelming,” said Delgado. “We have become builders of a brighter future for those who need it most.”
