On February 14, 2020, Dr. Verónica González Landaeta and Gabriela Madrid had a meeting with Econ. Jonatan Aldana, President of Fedecámaras Carabobo and Dr. Manuel Díaz, President of FUNVIVE and launched POP Movement Venezuela, aligning their purpose with the mission of the POP Movement and its founders, Dr. R.K. Pachauri and Dr. Ash Pachauri.

The participants in the meeting included Dr. Manuel Díaz, President of FUNVIVE; Econ. Jonatan Aldana, President of Fedecámaras Carabobo; Lcda. Sulay Puerta, Manager of Fedecámaras Carabobo; Ing. Maribella Sánchez, President of the Fundación Jardín Botánico Bachiller José Saer D’eguert; Gabriela Madrid, youth leader; Dr. Verónica González Landaeta, lawyer and educator; Young Mariangel A. Castro García and Luís Villafañe.

This meeting was the result of a letter written by youth leader Gabriela Madrid to Fedecámaras Carabobo, requesting the purchase of a water pump, for Fundación Jardín Botánico Bachiller José Saer D’eguert in Valencia, Carabobo state, Venezuela.
