Dedi Roland Olivier
POP Youth Mentor, Representative of an Ivory Coast
Olivier is a holder of a Master’s Degree in Physical Geography and Environment. His passion for this discipline will be reflected in the community actions in which he will engage. Olivier is involved in humanitarian and community life. In 2013-2014, he was a member of the organization AIESEC COCODY of which as a member in communication he was giving his time for humanitarian and other causes. He was involved in the most recent is in 2018 during the KENEYA Abidjan sud project on HIV-AIDS awareness.
In the years that will follow; he would like to set up the youth network for community development of which he is the founder, an organization that contributes to the development of local communities while participating in the preservation of the environment.
With the organization, actions will see capacity building on climate change, an ecological study outing with youth leaders and climate activists. Olivier’s actions in favor of the climate will enable him to be the country coordinator of the Ivory Coast on the COY16 conference, which is the United Nations youth conference on climate change that precedes the COP.
