Alejandra Yareth Fragoso Altamirano is a courageous, dedicated, and passionate woman currently residing in Mexico. She wholeheartedly embraces Carl Sagan’s profound statement, “There is no place in the cosmos that is safe from change.”

With a strong commitment to promoting AGENDA 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Alejandra actively participates in forums, congresses, and conferences at both institutional and international levels. She contributes her expertise as an individual and as an integral part of the POP MOVEMENT.

Recognizing that the actions we take now are the foundation for a brighter future, Alejandra emphasizes the importance of knowledge development in all fields. She understands that our choices as individuals shape the world we live in today. Inspired by her published research article, “Mexico and its energy transition: a change in favor of renewable energies,” Alejandra has embarked on continuous engineering research to drive the innovation and advancement of technologies that provide affordable and environmentally friendly solutions for water and energy.

Alejandra holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico Nacional de México and currently serves as an Honorary Social Media Mentor within the POP MOVEMENT. As a member of this movement, her mission is to inspire and support individuals in transforming their mindsets for the betterment of the planet, life, and global society. Her vision encompasses the realization of human rights, achieving gender equality, and empowering women and girls worldwide.
