At the POP Movement, we define Initiatives as those that are country-based, as they are more geographically representative. All POP Initiatives are supported by the POP Movement in the form of seed grants and mentorship. On the other hand, Projects are those conceived and led by youth leaders independently. These projects have been showcased at the POP Movement, and some of them receive mentorship and support.
It is important to note that there may be multiple POP Projects, but there is just one POP Initiative per country

This project aims to conduct research into the impact that the Paris Climate Agreement had on the process of the yearly UN conferences on climate (COP after 2015). Through the project, attempt to illuminate and explore the positive effect which the negotiation and signing of the agreement had on the overall discourse and discussion on the need to have global climate action. Climate change affects all people on the planet, and so everyone should cooperate on solving this problem. The UN is the best place for global cooperation. The project will promote cooperation under the UN umbrella, and call for greater activism and support for global engagement on this important issue.

The aim of this project is to design a complex adaptive systemic model that promotes the adoption of eco-innovation in Mexican manufacturing SMEs, overcoming barriers and taking advantage of the identified facilitating factors, in order to boost their sustainability and competitiveness, thus contributing to economic development and environmental care in Mexico. In order to achieve the general objective of the project, spatial objectives were proposed which includes carrying out an exhaustive review of the scientific and technical literature related to the adoption of eco-innovation in manufacturing SMEs, identifying the main approaches, models and best practices used in previous studies. It is also considered important to design a complex adaptive systemic model based on the literature review, which integrates the key elements to promote the adoption of eco-innovation in Mexican manufacturing SMEs, considering internal and external factors, as well as the interactions between them. And to validate the proposed model through interviews and consultations with companies in the manufacturing sector, academic experts in the field and representatives of the government sector involved in policies and regulations related to eco-innovation.
