Tree Plantation

POP Movement at Trees and Seas Festival 2022 | Reforestation

August 06, 2022

Corral De Piedra, Mexico

Trees and Seas, as part of its festival, planted three thousand trees on Aug 6, 2022 at Corral de Piedra, Mexico. Showcasing the connection between ecosystems and human beings, the festival was followed by meditation activity for grounding and mindfulness before heading out with the local people to the forest. Last year, Trees and Seas planted over 1,500 trees at the same place and had a significant impact. Participants of 2022 were able to observe how the trees were flourishing. The POP Youth Mentors, Drishya Pathak, Komal Mittal, Manish Gupta, and Ivan Ransom joined the tree plantation drive.

“We are watching how the dreams and hopes we planted into the soil find their way through nature and become part of a whole”---Trees and Seas
