APPLICATION FORM FOR THE POP INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND FESTIVAL 2021 / FORMATO DE APLICACIÓN PARA LA CONFERENCIA Y FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL POP 2021

The POP (Protect Our Planet) Movement is a non-profit organization that promotes and mobilizes global action and aims to empower the youth to have active participation in addressing issues of climate change faced by our planet.

The aim of the POP Festival, being organized on June 5-10, 2021 (via Zoom), is to showcase youth-led climate actions from different parts of the world and serve as a platform for different stakeholders to network, build relationships and cross-learn. Students, teams, or institutions demonstrating exemplary action in the broad fields of environment and sustainability will be invited to present their initiatives before a global audience. This will also be an opportunity providing the participants with online/offline visibility, mentorship for project implementation, and networking support to raise funds.

Interested teams may fill-up the form below and submit it before 23:59 EST on May 24, 2021. This form is for the purpose of collecting project information, determining its overall feasibility, and providing guidance, wherever necessary. (Does not apply for attendees).

Please note that this is not a registration to the POP Festival. IT IS ONLY A PRE-REGISTRATION FOR THE POP MOVEMENT FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION OR PROJECTS PRESENTATIONS AND FOLLOW-UP AS NECESSARY, IN CASE OF BEING SELECTED.

* Participant: will be the one who presents a project/session to be developed, please fill out sections A, B, and C.

** Attendee: only section A is required to be filled out.

El Movimiento POP (Protect Our Planet) es una organización sin fines de lucro que promueve y moviliza la acción global y tiene como objetivo empoderar a los jóvenes para que tengan una participación activa abordando los problemas del cambio climático que enfrenta nuestro planeta.

El objetivo del Festival POP, que se organizará del 5 al 10 de junio de 2021 (a través de Zoom), es mostrar las acciones climáticas lideradas por jóvenes de diferentes partes del mundo y servir como una plataforma para que las diferentes partes interesadas conformen redes, construyan relaciones y aprendan en forma interactiva. Los estudiantes, equipos o instituciones que demuestren una acción ejemplar en los amplios campos del medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad serán invitados a presentar sus iniciativas ante una audiencia global. Ésta también será una oportunidad que brindará a los participantes visibilidad en línea / fuera de línea, tutoría para la implementación del proyecto y apoyo en redes para recaudar fondos.

Los equipos interesados ​​pueden completar el formulario mostrado a continuación y enviarlo antes de las 23:59 EST del 24 de mayo de 2021.
