On 8th July, As part of the POP Movement’s continued efforts to strengthen partnerships in the fields of health, research, and sustainability, Dr. Ash Pachauri met with Dr. Afsheen, Director of the Cancer Research Institute at Abu Dhabi University.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss areas of mutual interest, including environmental health, cancer research, public awareness, and opportunities for collaboration in research, education, and community engagement. The discussions also explored ways to connect scientific knowledge with youth participation and interdisciplinary

initiatives that promote healthier and more sustainable communities.

This engagement builds upon the growing collaboration between the POP Movement and Abu Dhabi University, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing research, fostering innovation, and translating knowledge into meaningful action. By bringing together experts from academia and civil society, both organizations aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of the links between environmental sustainability, public health, and community well-being.
