North Central Climate Literacy: Student Involvement in Climates Advocacy and Leadership in Kogi State, Nigeria

Climate Change Education/Awareness Campaign: Encouraging Forestation and Discouraging Deforestation
On June 01, 2022, an event on climate change education was organized to encourage students participation in the promotion of sustainable environmental practices like tree planting, waste management, less use of single-use plastic, etc and Discourage actions that are detrimental to human health, environment and other living species. During the event, students all pledged to be climate and environmental advocates for Protecting Our Planet by Planting Trees.
At the end of the event, an eco club and an agroecology garden was established at the school.
