On July 23, 2020, the Centro de Vinculación y Desarrollo Regional Cancún IPN (CVDR), in partnership with POP Movement organized a webinar on “Social and economic impact of the environmental problems in Quintana Roo and actions to be implemented”. Bringing together youth, experts, researchers, government and civil society members, and indigenous communities, this session of about 85 participants sought to analyze the emerging environmental concerns in Quintana Roo and actions that all stakeholders can take as a society to address them. 

The session was moderated by Dra. Norma Patricia Muñoz. Panelists in the webinar included Gonzalo Merediz, Dr. Jaime González Cano, Dr. Ash Pachauri, Lic. Hiram Valdez, Ana Hanhausen, Vanessa Hernández and Lic. Hilario Poot Cajun.
