The POP Movement was interviewed by Cancún Channel & Radio at the offices of Dr. Hiram Valdez Flores Director, Instituto Politécnico Nacional on September 3, 2019.

The interview focused on the problem of sargassum found on the beaches of Quintana Roo and the urgent need for youth-led action to address climate change. The role of the POP Movement in leading climate adaptation and mitigation efforts was discussed as was the importance of many projects showcased by global youth during the recently held POP Festival in Nayarit, Nuevo Vallarta.  Additionally, plans for an upcoming event to mobilize young people in the state of Quintana Roo was discussed during the interview.
