Activity 21:Lauren Kangwa and Titus Mabuya from the POP Zambia Lusaka team organized a Tree Planting program at Mahati Magande Combined School on January 26, 2023. The session aimed to build awareness and capacities among 102 school students regarding the significance of tree-planting practices. With the theme emphasizing the importance of tree planting, the objective was to educate the students about the role of tree planting programs in environmental protection. The event was highly successful, with several students joining the POP Zambia team as a result. As part of the program, five trees were planted within the school premises, further contributing to the environmental initiatives of the school.
