August 13, 2020

Blue-Circle-forum

The Blue Circle is an initiative by Ervis Foundation that aims to bring young people and environmental experts and changemakers on the same table, virtually, to discuss and brainstorm key actions, solutions and policies that need to be implemented to urgently respond to the plastic pollution crisis, using the ‘Harkness’ method. Involving participants between the age groups 10 and 18, the initiative was kicked off on August 22, 2020, with the session, ‘Shifting mindsets to bring a behavioral change for driving sustainable action: from local to global scale’. This session was supported by POP Senior Mentor, Dr. Ash Pachauri, who has assumed the role of lead advisor to the Blue Circle forum.

On 13 August 2020, the POP Movement had signed an MoU with the Ervis Foundation, following the engagement of Haaziq Kazi, its founder at the Climate Pod on Youth Water Activism on July 31, 2020.
