On June 11, 2020, Dr. Ash Pachauri, POP Senior Mentor was invited to be the Chief Guest at an online conference “Hitaji Africa survey on COVID-19 Pandemic” organized by the Hitaji Africa organization to discuss the themes of climate change, food security, education, and health and human rights. The exploratory questions designed for the event sought to engage participants about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on these critical subjects and probed possible short-term and long-term solutions that can be implemented to address them.

The event was also attended by Ms. Linda Satehli, Founding Director, Teenz Dream Net collaborative, Ms. Hong-Mei Li, and Dr. Nuwe John Bosco.
