In commemoration of the World Clean-up day on September 21, 2019, Samuel Chijioke Okorie and the team have planned to execute a number of activities in concern for the environment. First on their action agenda was a clean-up drive that was carried out in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria with the active participation of around 30 people. The four-hour clean-up drive saw the accumulation of well more than 15 waste bags, all of which were segregated into degradable and non-biodegradable wastes. The activity also included an awareness campaign wherein people in the neighborhood were sensitized on the importance of a clean and green environment.

Samuel Chijioke Okorie and the team have a pile of activities lined up for the coming days, and organizing a climate walk is next on their big list!
