On September 27, 2019, Dr. Manuel Díaz, in alliance with POP Movement, Movimiento Ecológico de Venezuela (MOVEV) and other organizations in the state of Carabobo organized a climate knowledge test. With the participation of around 250 people between the ages 16 and 18, the event involved a knowledge test of participants around issues of climate change which served as a base to inspire youth to become environmentally aware and take action. In addition to this, there were also cultural events to celebrate the gathering.

The event was organized at Colegio Santa Rosa, an internationally recognized and ISO 14001 certified school in the city of Valencia, Carabobo. Despite the critical political climate in the country, Dr. Díaz and his team have committed to engage in motivating and inspiring young people towards Protecting Our Planet.

Lawyer, researcher and founding member of several non-governmental organizations, Dr. Manuel Díaz is also the Director-General of ECOVISION TV and President International Environmental Foundation Vida Verde (FUNVIVE).
