On August 29, 2019, the Papalote Museo del Nino and the POP Movement engaged in a 3-4 hour workshop to explore possibilities to build activities to Protect Our Planet into its work with children and other important stakeholders. A range of engaging, exploratory, and participatory activities including mapping exercises and role-plays were conducted to begin this process through a first and initial workshop.

The objectives of this workshop were to explore the semantics used to describe the activities to Protect Our Planet within Papalote’s work, and to identify possible ways to integrate activities to Protect Our Planet in Papalote’s design and principles. The workshop was profoundly productive in terms of bringing forward key issues and reflecting on future points of action.
